O Most Holy spouse of Mary, before thee are those whom thou hast aided in a special way, in all circumstances, and who take thee as the patron of confidence.
Thou, O St. Joseph, fulfilled thy mission and took it to its final consequences, in the perfection of thy virtues.
And we, are we not also called? Is there not something along our paths to be accomplished? Yes, in this tragic moment, which finds humanity in the delirium of a horrible decadence, each one of us has a specific mission, in view of the Reign of thy most pure Spouse.
With her help, and with thy protection, we must reverse the current situation, combat the world and conquer it. We must, therefore, be upright, prudent and faithful.
However, we acknowledge our human insufficiency in face of this grand prospect. We fly to thee, asking thee to receive us paternally and to accept the consecration that we make to thee. We place our souls and all that we have at the feet of Our Lord Jesus Christ, through thee. As the head of the Holy Family, thy relationship of authority over the Child Jesus endures in eternity, and He will always grant whatever thou dost request of Him.
Thus, we beseech thee, as Patriarch of the Holy Catholic Church, which thou never forsakest, to take each one of us in thy hands and govern us. And, through thine intercession before Mary Most Holy, we implore thee to obtain for us thy faith and thy confidence, the serene conviction that the Holy Church will triumph, the courage of the crusaders, the perfection with which thou didst react to all perplexity, and the splendour of a holiness such as history has never known. So be it.
