Among the countless graces that the Father bestowed on His beloved Daughter during her time in the Temple, the relationship with Simeon stands out. By virtue of the strong consonance She immediately felt with the righteousness and faith of this priest-prophet, the little one made the firm intention to never miss a single occasion to approach him.
Thus, they had many and long conversations over the years, in which Simeon revealed himself to be a true father and spiritual guide, protecting Her from the plotting and snares of the evil priests who were trying to bring about her perdition.
