Ukraine – Missionaries from Italy and Portugal travelled to Poland, taking essential material for Ukrainians affected by the war. When delivering these provisions to shelters and parishes, it became the missionaries’ first concern to offer them spiritual comfort as well.
Guatemala – Three well-attended ceremonies of consecration to Our Lady took place at the Heralds’ house in Guatemala City on February 26, 27 and 28. The preparatory course of thirty online classes was carried out through the Reconquest Catholic Formation Platform of the Heralds of the Gospel.
Colombia – On February 22, seventeen new cooperators received their tunics in a ceremony held at the Heralds’ house in Medellin. And on the 23rd, missionaries from both the male and female sectors of that city visited three schools: Fernando González, José Manuel Restrepo Vélez and Alejandro Vélez Barrientos.
Austria – St. Joseph’s Parish in Vienna, attended by a number of Spanish-speaking parishioners, invited Heralds from Spain and Portugal to commemorate their patron Saint’s triduum by carrying out a Marian Mission in the parish territory. Masses in German and Spanish were celebrated at the main parish church (photo 2). There was time set aside for the veneration of the Pilgrim Statue and, on Saturday, a Dawn Rosary through the streets of the parish (photo 1). Numerous homes were visited (photos 3 and 4), and not even the needy people living under the Praterstern bridge were overlooked by the missionaries (photo 5).
Mexico – On the feast of Our Lady of Lourdes, a Mass was held in the Metropolitan Tabernacle next to the cathedral, followed by the distribution of medals. Several days later, the Solemnity of St. Joseph was celebrated with Adoration and Mass in the basilica bearing his name, also in Mexico City.
