Jacinta’s mission reveals to us the need for expiatory victims who, with their suffering and the sacrifice of their lives, collaborate so that the words of Our Lady will find fertile ground in the hearts of men.
We can therefore comprehend how this apostolate of suffering is truly irreplaceable, and how it opens the way for the Church. All of the great works of God, especially those involving the salvation of souls, are generally done with the participation of other souls who fought, suffered and prayed so that these works would in fact be accomplished.
