Secretary of My most profound mystery, know that yours is an exclusive intimacy with Me. Your task is to write down everything that I make known to you about My mercy, for the benefit of those who by reading these things will be comforted in their souls and will have the courage to approach Me.
My Heart overflows with great mercy for souls, and especially for poor sinners. If only they could understand that I am the best of Fathers to them and that it is for them that the Blood and Water flowed from My Heart as from a fount overflowing with mercy. For them I dwell in the tabernacle as King of Mercy. I desire to bestow My graces upon souls, but they do not want to accept them. Oh, how indifferent are souls to so much goodness, to so many proofs of love! They have time for everything, but they have no time to come to Me for graces.
Tell sinners that I am always waiting for them, and I listen intently to the beating of their heart… when will it beat for Me? Write, that I am speaking to them through their remorse of conscience, through their failures and sufferings, through thunderstorms, through the voice of the Church.
Write this for the benefit of distressed souls; when a soul sees and realizes the gravity of its sins, […] the whole abyss of the misery into which it immersed itself; with trust let it throw itself into the arms of My mercy, as a child into the arms of its beloved mother. I delight particularly in a soul which has placed its trust in My goodness.
