The Magi arrived in Bethlehem, after their long travels under the scorching Eastern sun in search of the most glorious King of all time, and they found Him in a humble dwelling. And yet they did not for a moment experience the slightest hint of disappointment. On the contrary, they entered the house with all solemnity and adored that frail Child who, nevertheless, showed the radiance of divinity in His countenance and in His gaze. That night shone with the most sublime splendour in all of history, never to be surpassed by the refined Christian courts that would later flourish.
