The attitude of Our Lady during the Passion of Our Lord was a great consolation for the Man-God: her compassion strengthened Him, her tears assuaged His Sacred Heart, her firmness encouraged Him to go on until the end. In Her, He saw the perfect correspondence to all that He had given to humanity since the Incarnation. In Her, His Blood bore the plenitude of fruit. But above all, in the Immaculate Heart of Mary, He found His Passion reflected! Both Hearts, which make up just one, were nailed together on the Cross, and there awaited the glorious Resurrection.
