Communion of Reparation on
First Saturday
Following an already established tradition, on August 5th the Heralds of the Gospel held in the various cities where they operate the ceremony of the First Saturday of the month, with the solemn entry and crowning of the Pilgrim Statue of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, recitation of the Rosary, meditation on one of the mysteries of the Rosary and Holy Mass, during which priests were available to the faithful for Confession.

Theological Thomistic Congress
On the occasion of the seventh centenary of the canonization of St. Thomas Aquinas, on the 9th to 11th of August, the Clerical Society of Apostolic Life Virgo Flos Carmeli held its first Thomistic Congress, under the title Sanctity and Theology.
Those present profited from the wonders of Thomistic thought presented by distinguished speakers. 13th Pilgrimage to Aparecida â On August 11th and 12th, the Shrine of Our Lady of Aparecida hosted the 13th National Pilgrimage of the Mary Queen of All Hearts Shrine Apostolate. Graces abounded during the programme, which included the candlelit procession, the recitation of the Rosary in the Old Basilica and the processional Rosary on the Walkway of Faith. The closing Mass, presided over by Bishop Benedito Beni dos Santos, Emeritus of Lorena, began with the enthronement of the Statue of the Patroness of Brazil.

Paraguay â On August 6, the country celebrated the feast of its Patroness with a solemn procession that began at the Shrine of Our Lady of the Assumption, followed by a Mass in the metropolitan cathedral, celebrated by Cardinal Adalberto MartĂnez Flores, Archbishop of AsunciĂłn.
